Gettinger Homes actually began as Big Bob's Landscaping in 1988.  In 1995 my wife Tammy and I decided to start building homes. Our first home took twelve weeks to complete and have been building since that time. 

    In October of 1996, we incorporated into White Pine Properties, Inc. The following years we created these sub-divisions: White Pine Meadows, Pheasant Cove & Jullerat Pass in Whitley County and Kapps Creek in Dekalb County.

    In 1999 our company joined the Whitley County Builders Association and entered the Showcase of Homes with the "Serenity" we won BEST OF SHOW. We were pleased to set two precedence. It was the first time any one has ever won with a spec home and the first time a first year member has ever won. 
We won again in 2001 with the "la CASA DE SPRINGS". 

     I was an active member of Whitley County Builders Association (board member 2000 to 2004 including president in 2003).

Columbia City Chamber of Commerce member (2001 to present) and an active board member and treasure in the Builders Association of Northern Eastern Indiana (2004 to present). We are a member of The Better Business Bureau of Northeastern Indiana in good standing (2005 to present).

A member of New Hope Weslyan Church. (Trustee,Worship team)

    In 2006 we changed our home building division to Gettinger homes still under the White Pine Properties Corporation.

     We build in Whitley, Noble, LaGrange, Steuben, Dekalb, Huntington, Adams, and Kosciusko counties.
